Dr. Jaquish’s Newest Book Muscles Its Way onto WSJ Bestseller List

Dr. John Jaquish, scientist and inventor of the X3 muscle-building system, is pleased to announce that his best-selling fitness book, Weight Lifting is a Waste of Time, has skyrocketed to the top of the Wall Street Journal’s bestseller list. The book cracked the Journal’s top 10 list for the week that ended August 22, and peaked at No. 2 on August 29.

Co-authored with Jaquish Biomedical chief technology officer Henry Alkire, the book lays waste to the fallacy that weight training offers the best prospect for gaining lean muscle. Instead, Jaquish and Alkire present scientific evidence that subjecting muscles to variable resistance with diminishing range of motion delivers superior results.

Subtitled, So is Cardio, and There’s a Better Way to Have the Body You Want, the book outlines the [X3 bar variable resistance system and resistance band workout program](/products/x3-bar/), which has demonstrated 20-pound muscle gain on even experienced lifters.
