Ditch the treadmill, put the heavy weights down, the creator of the
X3 Bar
has come up with a way for everyone to build muscle without
hurting the joints and it beats traditional weights and resistance bands. Dr.
John Jaquish show us his invention and how it has helped transform his clients

Joanne: The before and after pictures. Look at them, they say it all. These
people did not take any pills, or go on some crazy diet, or run two marathons,
two to five marathons. They simply changed their workout tool to the
X3 Bar
. So we have the inventor of this tool here today, Dr. John
Jaquish. He’s here to show us the science behind this tool because, doctor,
you’re a scientist, right?
Dr. John Jaquish: I am, yeah, probably more inventor than a scientist. Not
everybody invents stuff. So, I developed a medical device 13 years ago to treat
my mother’s osteoporosis. So, what ended up happening was we tested this device
and it puts huge forces through the body. It’s called OsteoStrong.
Joanne: Right.
Dr. John Jaquish: It puts huge forces through the body in impact-ready
positions. So, if I go to trip and fall I’m going to protect myself like this.
So, I noticed in these positions that people are seven times stronger in that
impact-ready position than they are in the weaker ranges of motion. I knew I was
the only guy that had quantified that, so I wanted to develop a device for
muscular training. This is it. So, here I’m going to get in a chest press
position.
Joanne: So, it comes with the bar. It comes with five different bands?
Dr. John Jaquish: Four different bands and then the elite one is extra. When I
[crosstalk 00:01:19]
Joanne: There’s no way.
Dr. John Jaquish: … over 600 pounds. This is a chest press where I’m holding
close to 300 pounds at the top, but the weight diminishes when I get to a weaker
range of motion so I can actually go through movements and engage the body in
accordance to the biomechanics. So, the weight gets heavier as the musculature
is capable of delivering more power, which means a greater level of fatigue
faster. So, the workouts are like 10 minutes, and there’s even more growth than
you’ve ever seen.
Joanne: This is yours over here.
Speaker 3: You’re not going to hook me up on this one here, 600 pounds? Oh my
gosh.
Joanne: We’re going to try this because it’s intense. All you need is 10 minutes
a day.
Dr. John Jaquish: All right, so Joanne’s going to do the overhead press, the
squat. Get the bar up here. Go ahead and stand up.
Joanne: Oh, my gosh.
Dr. John Jaquish: Put your hands around.
Speaker 3: Put my hands around?
Dr. John Jaquish: Yeah.
Speaker 3: Okay.
Dr. John Jaquish: And now just stand up and do a bicep curl where you pull the
elbows back at the top. Perfect.
Speaker 3: Now, what’s the weight range that we’re working with here with this
strap?
Dr. John Jaquish: So, this one goes to 70 pounds at the top, but she may be
closer to 40 at the bottom. This one goes to about 50 at the top, but it might
be 20 at the bottom.
Speaker 3: And you can definitely feel it. You can feel the difference.
Joanne: This is crazy. This is… People say this is all you need, so I got to
toss it to break guys. For more information go to kwgn.com. We’ll keep working
out, guys. See you in just a few minutes.
